The Goroka Festival is held in the second week of September each year in conjunction with the country’s independence celebrations. Participants from the highlands region and the coastal region come together in Goroka, the provincial capital town of Eastern Highlands Province, and display their respective cultures and traditions in the form of traditional cultural performance (dance or sing-sing).
During the festival, there are also displays of agricultural products at the festival venue.

Itinerary
Transfer to Jacksons International airport in Port Moresby for your flight to Goroka. Upon arrival at Goroka airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
